WELCOME TO REGION 8

In April 2010, the local NPs started a CAPNI Region 8 group that meets quarterly in Evansville, IN.  The officers include:  President - Jane Frary, FNP-BC, President-Elect - Valerie Turpen, ACNP-BC, Vice President - Claudia Merkley, ACNP-BC, Secretary - Melissa Hall, DNP, ANP-BC and Treasurer - Rebecca Shelton, RNC, CPNP, CNNP.  As a newly formed group, we are in need of committee chairs and members.  We would like to increase the Region 8 membership by 20% this year.  Please join and attend our meetings to discuss practice issues, government affairs and enjoy networking with fellow APNs.
