WELCOME TO REGION 7

As the representative for Region 7, I'd like to welcome you to our CAPNI website.  I have been a member of CAPNI since its inception and have seen our organization grow in number and strength over these past 11 years.  I encourage all advanced practice nurses to join CAPNI as we are your connection with our state's legislative concerns affecting our practice.

Region 7 meetings generally occur the first Thursday of each month.  Our meeting locations are usually in Columbus, Seymour, and occasionally Scottsburg.  Due to the size of our region, I understand the distance constraints and would like to have additional locations in different areas of our region to reach out to more APNs.  I need your assistance with this goal.  Please contact me with suggestions for meeting locations, sponsors and topics.  I also welcome input/questions on any topics affecting APNs, and suggestions for our organization in general.

Membership Update
Also, I have recently received and reviewed our current CAPNI membership list.  Our renewal process over the past several years has been poor, but is improving.  Unfortunately, many of you on my e-mail list are not current.  I will be sending out a separate notice to those of you with expired memberships and hope that you will renew your memberships as soon as possible as all future notices for meetings and updates will be sent to the current listing only.  Thanks for your attention to this.
